Sports Day

Sungsan School Sports Day 2011.

Friday 29th April 2011.  An eventful day which in time will become a truly historical event.  I should state clearly that I am in no way referring to that wedding that took place but rather Sungsan Schools annual sportsday.
  Whilst the aristocracy of Britain watched the future of the British monarchy, thousands of miles away in a playground consisting mainly of sand, hundreds of talented young athletes were pitting there wits against each other in a battle of skill, speed and ultimately the inner strength that turns ordinary children into athletic superstars.

Arriving at school expecting a fairly normal day, I  simply was not prepared for the events which were to unfold.  I was handed a camera at 8.59am and told that I should photograph sportsday for the school website.  Here is the outcome of my assignment...
